2022 Learner Admission and Enrollment Process

Printed application forms: our application forms are available from Whitfield Academy Reception or Admissions Offices during office hours, Monday to Friday, 7H30 to 15H30

Online applications: Online applications can be completed at (whitfieldacademy.co.za). Online applications cannot be submitted without uploading all support documents as follow;

1. Learner’s ID size photo x 2
2. Learner’s Birth Certificate/Identity Document if over the age of 16
3. Learner’s latest School Report (Original) – End of year
4. Parent/Guardian (Account Holder) Proof of Residence
5. Parent/Guardian (Account Holder) Salary Advice/Payslip and Reference Letter from current employer
6. Parent/Guardian (Account Holder) Copy of Identity Document (ID)

Important: Please ensure that the information provided is correct.

Submissions: All forms must be completed in full and submitted with all the support documents before the closing date.

Important: No application will be processed without payment of the application fee

Physical submissions: Application fees can be paid in the following ways

• At school using a speed point machine, cash, credit card or debit card when submitting the application form, or
• Into the Whitfield Academy banking accounts as follow;

Online submissions: The application fee will be required to be paid by credit card, debit card or EFT on submission of the application and proof of payment be submitted.

Admission Assessment Exam/Tests:

Grade RR to 7 – Following the submission of the prospective learners, all will be booked for assessment at the school. The assessment will be scheduled to take place 30 minutes and an hour.

Grade 8 to 12: No admissions allowed

Successful Testing Applicants: Successful tested applicants will be invited with their parents or guardian to the Admission Committee for interview

Final successful Applicants: An offer of place at the school is made in writing

Current learners already enrolled from Grade R to 11: Once off readmission fee of R300 is required as a way of securing and parents guarantying space for their children the next academic year, this process will end in October/November annually.

Acceptance of an offer: in order to accept an offer from the school, a non-refundable acceptance fee of R750 must be paid upfront for the learner to be registered. This amount must be deposited into the school’s account following either of the methods of payment listed above. Use the learner’s full names and grade as reference.

Induction: An Induction or orientation will be held for all the accepted learners and their parents/guardians near the end of the year.
