About Whitfield Academy

Whitfield Academy is an independent Christian School of classes from Grades RR-12. It first began to operate on the 11^th of January 2016 with only 209 learners. Initiated and driven by the founders, Ms Elnette Viljoen and Mr Devaris Gatsi. Situated in Sun Village, the school accommodates 727 learners as of 2025. This initiative is in response to an increasing shortage of independent co-educational primary schools in the Moses Kotane east area and the need to provide education appropriate to the changing local and international environment. The school has a pre-school with 60 learners with an aftercare as well.
